Guardian Homes
We believe every dog deserves a loving home. Our guardian home program provides a permanent family for one of our breeding dogs while they contribute to our breeding program. Being a guardian requires commitment, including time away for breeding and whelping.
As a guardian family, you’ll be responsible for the everyday costs of owning a dog, including food, vaccinations, annual vet check-ups, and general care. We cover all breeding-related expenses, such as progesterone testing, ultrasounds, X-rays, and health exams.

Requirements for a guardian home that MUST be followed are:
- Location: Must live within 2 hours of Sydney.
- Experience: Previous dog ownership experience is preferred.
- Training: Enrolling in puppy school is required, and teaching basic commands like sit, stay, lay, and come is essential.
- Safety: Dog parks are not allowed to prevent unnecessary risks or accidents.
- Living Arrangements: The dog must live indoors and never be left unattended outside.
- Nutrition: Must feed the dog the breeder’s choice of premium food.
- Other Pets: No unapproved dogs and strictly no undesexed dogs around your guardian dog.
- Exercise: Regular daily exercise is important for the dog’s well-being.
- Home Visits: Must be willing to allow the breeder to visit your home when required.
- Vet Care: Provide the breeder with all vet visit documentation and ensure the dog receives any necessary veterinary care.
- Breeding Commitment: Be prepared to bring the dog to the breeder for 1-2 weeks during breeding, one week before the due date, and for the entire period until puppies are weaned.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with the breeder and respond promptly when contacted.
